Yamagishi Yukako has kept to herself in ways most hero students haven’t━ calmed and undisturbed. As a first-year general courses student at Shiketsu Academy, she was filled with a lack of heroic ambition regardless of her quirk strength (a quirk that manipulates soundwaves, causing tremors or shock waves directly connected to her heightened emotions). Her awakening to heroism came of its own volition: facing an altercation with a villain with nobody to help but herself. It was that trip into courage, one that ended with her victory and the rescue of someone who thanked her deeply enough which spun her attitude into a whole new direction. Entering her second year and applying for the hero course this time led Yukako into a more proactive path: a diligent heroism student, student council president, and a newfound disrespect for authority that governed criminal activity in a way that didn’t sit well with her.Because of this, Yukako begins taking the laws into her own hands by moonlighting as a young and stealthy vigilante, only this time with a quirk that differs from the one she possesses at school: one that projects a physical manifestation of her aura, a copy, that she uses in combat as an extension of herself. This is the quirk she’s born with, one she’s honed and trained better, and fits differently than the one she’s seen using more often. Despite the strong capabilities of her soundwave quirk, it was forced upon her in an act of failed recruitment by one of the worst villains in Japan━ All For One.

Yukako is a first-year student at Niiyama Girl's High School, where she was scouted as their volleyball team's ambidextrous wing spiker and power server. She is one of the top teenage female hitters in Japan and her utility is heightened by the fact that most do not know how to react to incoming balls hit with a left hand.She's renowned for not only her supernatural reaction speeds, but also her fake-out spikes, which are based on reading the opponent team's body language to blow away opposing blocks.Whenever she handles the ball, she rarely looks at it. Yukako calculates how close the ball is by the incoming air and uses her eyes to deduce the best spots to spike the ball and fools blockers into thinking she'll spike with her right before quickly switching to her left, and vice versa.

She passes her classes, and arrives on time for work without fail— it would be hard to suspect that she's anything more than an ordinary girl. In actuality, she is a powerful esper who regularly communicates with spirits. Yukako uses her psychic energy to create a humanoid entity that aids her in combat. Her second strength is the ability to see the molecules of wind after generating a gust of wind; upon which, she can perceive any 'anomalies' due to the wind's unique behavior and movement around the anomaly in question.

The better half of an entire night is spent protecting her town against a newly made Upper Moon that considered Sendai their feasting grounds.Barely beating the sun was a woman with a sword unlike any Yukako's seen before: Uzui Tengen. The woman battled the Upper Moon and with the torch passed onto someone more capable, Yukako succumbed to what she assumed were fatal injuries. Little did she know that the demon's blood seeped into her open wounds, giving her a low concentration of Kibutsuji Muzan's blood and minimizing her horrible gashes. It was unnoticed even by the Hashira, who brought the teenager to the Butterfly Estate after being given the slip.In the present time, she is Uzui's tsuguko, adept in the Breath Style of Sound. Her strength approaches infinity when her anger reaches its maximum at the cost of her humanity, gaining the traits of a demon as the demonic blood within her multiplies quicker.

On a planet light years away from Earth lived an intelligent extraterrestrial species that fell under siege. Among them was a scientist, who knew their efforts to win against gravity was coming to an end. The Viltrum Empire was at their doorstep, ready to harvest their natural resources and reduce them into either slaves or cannon fodder. The scientist, a lover of psionics and considered a foremost expert in their field, made defying the empire their final act. They embedded a golden arrow within a meteor with not only their species DNA, but also a "virus" that will "infect" a person upon impact with the ability to manipulate matter and energy with their mind.This meteor traveled for centuries through space and time, breaking apart and eventually entering into the Earth's atmosphere. Yukako became acquainted with her psychic powers when she awoke, gaining the benefits of that plus an enhanced physiology. Her abilities (telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, 6th sense, etc.) make her one of the most powerful minds on the planet.She attends Reginald Vel Johnson High School as an exchange student, occasionally offering her expertise as a superhero wherever necessary. There's no time off for superheroes, but she technically was on vacation.

When her cut of the cash is denied under the unified reasoning of Shimada blood over outsiders, Yukako turns the tides and walks away with all that was stolen— and a Shimada target on her back. The Clan creates a false narrative and spews falsehoods through their public influence, resulting in a confrontation initiated by her.Her demands for the truth to be told are met with violence and in an act of desperation, she seals a pact between host; and an unstable Shimada Dragon’s takeover. Now living in the shadows of Japan, Yukako wields one of the Shimada’s best kept secrets, their dragons. Without Shimada lineage, the Dragon is unruly and consumptive, taking over in times of intense emotion.
